G
G D/F# Em7
Black and blue from the wind and the rain
                       D5 A5
Said im sorry for the lies and the pain
                       C
I never, ever meant to make you cry
           D
If i could take it back you know i would

I wanna burn up and die

chorus 1:
                      G
So take a look at me now
                      D/F#
Since i told you it's over
                        Em7
You got a hole in your heart
                       D5
I'll find a four leaf clover
                   A5
Cant tell me this now
                    C
this far down the line
D C
That your never, ever gonna get over me

Verse 2:
G D/F# Em7
you seen a cross, its a cross i bear
                                           D5 A5
your drinking, hard up, living without a hope or a care
                                  C
You're making do to please, see what makes you smile
         D
You're not around for long, you gotta see what's gonna move your life right along

Chorus 2:
                      G
So take a look at me now
                      D/F#
Since i told you it's over
                        Em
You got a hole in your heart
                       D5
I'll find a four leaf clover
                   A5
Cant tell me this now
                    C
this far down the line
D
That your never, ever gonna get over me

Bridge:

A5
I'm lost

I'm cold
             Bm
I'm getting old
                               G D/F# C
My head is filled with lies I told

A5
I've been down

I've been around
                       Bm
But I've fallen on my own two feet
                            G
And I've left you out to drown
    D/F# C D
I never meant for that

Verse 3:
G D/F# Em7
I look around, sometimes I stare
                                        D5 A5
I think back now and then, I hope you know I care
                                   C
I walked away that day, trying to treat you right
         D
But you were on your track, it was me turning back, I left you freezing outside

Chorus 3:

                      G
So take a look at me now
                      D/F#
Since i told you it's over
                        Em
You got a hole in your heart
                       D5
I'll find a four leaf clover
                   A5
Cant tell me this now
                    C
this far down the line
D G
That your never, ever gonna get over me

        D/F# Em7
ah na na nah never get over me
       D5 A5 C
ah na na nah ah na na nah never get over me
        D
But you were on your track, it was me turning back, I left you freezing outside

Chorus 4:

                      G
So take a look at me now
                      D/F#
Since i told you it's over
                        Em7
You got a hole in your heart
                       D5
I'll find a four leaf clover
                   A5
Cant tell me this now
                    C
this far down the line
D G
